A busy week in September đź‘€

It’s pretty rare that we get busy weeks in the world of pro golf post-Tour Championship.

However, this week, we have a banger event on the DP World Tour, LIV Chicago, and a really solid field on the PGA Tour.

Irish Open

The Irish Open is already underway at the best course on planet earth (not up for debate, sorry). How lucky are we that we get to watch Royal County Down on TV this weekend?

I mean, just look at the place ↓

We’re never this lucky in September. Like ever. The field has a handful of solid names with Rory, Shane, Bobby Mac headlining, and then falls off a cliff.

Can’t wait to watch the fellas come down the stretch on Sunday before football.

LIV Chicago

It’s LIV’s individual championship this week, and it’s taking place at Bolingbrook Golf Club in Chicago.

With the usual suspects playing, it’s shocking that they’re playing a serious professional golf event at this place… when I say it’s bad, I mean it’s baaaaaad ↓

I will definitely tune in and out at some points, but that’s only because I wanna see Brooks and Bryson battle it out.

Procore Championship

The PGA Tour is kicking off it’s 2025 season at the Procore Championship in Cali, and the field isn’t totally horrible.

Presidents Cup=ers Wyndham, Sahith, Conners, Homa, and Min Woo are headlining… could be worse.

The least intriguing event of the weekend in my opinion, but beggars can’t be choosers!

Our beautiful shit-show of a golf world 🤦‍♂️

Ever since the Saudi’s poked their way into the pro golf world, it’s been a complete shit show, as we all know.

Up first, Jon Rahm says he’s gonna play in DP World Tour events regardless of the sanctions that are in place (lol) ↓

Next, we have Joaquin Niemann, who’s not so thrilled that he can’t play in the Presidents Cup ↓

I’m actually a big Niemann guy, but I think we should all come together and agree that he isn't allowed to comment on the state of professional golf until he manages to tie Michael Block for career Top 15 finishes in majors. Currently 1-0 Blockie despite Joaquin playing three times as many majors.

No but in all seriousness, he is right, it sucks and they needa pull it together sooner than later.

While we’re talking about the eventual merger…

Please God let them have made some progress. The shit show needs to end!

Tapas for breakfast 🍳🥞🧇

Scottie 🤝 Tyreek

The new trend in 2024 is superstars getting arrested on gameday, and then absolutely popping off.

Scottie got arrested right before his first round tee time at the PGA Championship in May and shot 66.

Tyreek got arrested on his way to the season opener last weekend and went for 130 yards and a touchdown.

I needa try getting arrested before my next round of golf…

PGA vs. LIV match 🔥

The Match is back, and it might be their best matchup yet. Chefs kiss, this is gonna be sick 🤌

Full Swing season 3 is gonna be nuts 🍿

Fair to say that 2024 was a pretty wild year in golf, and now that we know Full Swing has a new season coming, I’m pretty amped up.

Here’s what we’ll get to witness some behind-the-scenes footage of ↓

Buffet bets đź’°

With three gamble-worthy events on the table this week, there’s no doubt that we needa provide you with some picks for the week. Ride or fade at your own will…

Our winners this week: Aaron Rai (+2000), Jon Rahm (+600), Maverick McNealy (+2300) — hell you can even parlay these for a whopping +352800 return!

The top-10 lay: Sahith x Rory x Brooks (+750) — it’s a lock, I swear.

NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorers: Waddle x Etienne x Henry x Zeke (+1570) — I know, I know, wrong sport. But like… who cares?

Quick bites 🥓

The match that no one asked for: DJ Khaled will be taking on Jimmy Kimmel in a four hole golf match on Friday night.
