  • The Canadian Open continues to deliver 🇨🇦

  • Nelly did WHAT?! 😳

  • Multiple Tiger sightings 🐅

  • Bryson stock keeps rising 📈

The Canadian Open continues to deliver

Bob MacIntyre had his father fly from Oban, Scotland to Toronto to loop for the week at the Canadian Open.

Fast forward four days, and Bob has won his first ever PGA Tour event. You can’t make it up.

Bob’s transition to the PGA Tour from the Euro Tour hasn’t been an easy one; he’s gone through four caddies, and has been extremely homesick.

Before the PGA Championship, he decided that he had to make a change, so he brought home to him. His mom came over the pond for some home cooking, and he contended for his first time at a major.

Now, two weeks later, he had his dad caddie at the Canadian Open, and went ahead and won the whole damn thing.

They also gave us one of the best post-win interviews in recent memory. I shed a tear if I’m being honest

Pro golf has been terrible for a lot of the last few years. Sometimes, though, it’s absolutely awesome. This week proves it 🥲

The craziest caddie situation you’ll ever witness

So this happened yesterday

CT Pan was playing musical chairs with caddies for the rest of the day; by the end of it, he had FOUR caddies in one round. Shane had something to say about it 😂 ↓

Imagine being the dude who takes a shot in the dark, offering the player to caddie for him… and he actually says yes. Kind of a dream scenario.

Nelly did WHAT?!

Nelly Korda did the unthinkable last Thursday.

On the third hole of her US Open, the heavy favorite made a TEN. Yes, a ten. See for yourself

She ended up missing the cut, which seemed impossible after winning six of her last seven events.

This is an important reminder that even the best player in the world can struggle mightily and have blowup holes. In golf, no one is safe.

Yuka Saso ended up winning her second US Open, which is funny because those are her only two wins ever.

Saso is famous for replicating Rory’s swing. Enjoy

Multiple Tiger sightings

Last week, Charlie Woods was paired up with Trevor Immelman’s son at an AJGA event, so their Masters Champion fathers decided to go watch together

He then flew to Vegas for Tiger Jam, where he held a clinic, played some golf at Shadow Creek with Collin Morikawa, and hit the tables

There’s not really any news here, I just know that everyone, including myself, wants to bear witness to any move Tiger makes.

Bryson stock keeps rising

At this point, it feels like Bryson can do no wrong. Golf fans can’t get enough of the guy.

He had a 9.99/10 week at the PGA Championship. He was vibing with the fans, and putting on a show. The only .01 that was missing was due to finishing 2nd and not 1st.

Here’s what he got up to last week

From finishing second at the PGA to filming YouTube content in vintage clothes with 100 year old golf clubs. This dude rocks.

Meme of the week

Bernhard Langer is iron man: less than 4 months after tearing his achilles, he shot a 63 in a Champions Tour event.
