Scottie Scheffler is the Messiah 💰

Ok so Scottie won another tournament. His fifth of the year, his first win ever after the month of April, and his first win as a dad. I don’t even know what to say at this point.

Since March 1st of this year, Scottie has either won a golf tournament, had a child, or been arrested for the felonious assault of a police officer. Nothing else in between.

I’ve been feeding you guys some mind-blowing Scottie stats over the past few months, and this one might be my favorite ↓

Scottie is in completely uncharted territory. He is in a place that Tiger has technically never been.

No, I’m not saying he’s better than Tiger by any means. But he’s currently in the best short-term stretch of golf any of us have ever witnessed in our lives.

He’s made $24,024,553 this year, which is the most ever in a single season… and he has three months left to rack up some more.

He’s +300 to win the US Open this week (which is incomprehensible) and I have a strong feeling he’ll do it too.

The worst interview of all time 😂

Last week, Vince Young played in some pro-am, and one of the on-course reporters went to get an interview with him. Here’s how it went ↓

The first time I watched the clip, my jaw dropped. I was sitting at my desk at work in complete disbelief, laughing out loud to myself.

My boss even said “wtf are you laughing at”, so I showed him the clip. He laughed too.

The guy she interviewed was Everette Sands, and he couldn’t have handled the situation with more class. He even got himself a pic with the real Vince Young after the round ↓

Jon Rahm is injured 🏥

Since Rahmbo took the LIV money, his golf game has been prettttty underwhelming to say the least.

No wins in 54-man LIV fields, finished T45 at the Masters and missed the cut at the PGA.

Now add on what looks to be a back injury, and we have ample reason to be concerned. His US Open status is up in the air as of now.

It’s US Open week 🇺🇸

Everyone rejoice! We have a major championship being played this week and the venue couldn’t be more awesome.

Pinehurst is the home of American golf. Those who have been know that there’s just something different about the place… it’s magical and absolutely breathtaking.

It’s gonna be sunny and 90° every day this week, so the course will be as firm as ever. Prepare for carnage.

This isn’t your typical US Open venue; there’s no rough at Pinehurst. Instead, it has firm sand dunes with violent weeds growing throughout.

Tiger was out and about all weekend, getting some early practice rounds in ↓

The US Open is just three days away, and I can’t wait 😍

An all time choke 🤢

The European Tour has a mixed event every year, where men and women play against each other in the same field.

Sebastian Soderberg had an 8-shot lead with 18 holes to play. Then, all of a sudden, he developed a case of the putting yips on the back 9 and started missing a ton of very short putts.

On 18, he had less than 2 feet to force a playoff… here’s how it went ↓

So hard to watch.. an all time choke. Gotta feel for the guy.

Banned from the Home of Golf 🚫

Last week, some random dude decided to put a ball down in the middle of the street in St. Andrews, and hit a shot off concrete and over buildings to the 18th green ↓

Well, St. Andrews decided to ban the guy from the course. He’s trying to make the best of a bad situation by selling merch related to the shot.

Getting banned from the Home of Golf… I think it’s time to hang ‘em up pal.
